Aims & Scope

NJLIT is dedicated to advancing the frontiers of library and information science through rigorous, peer-reviewed research.

The NOUN Journal of Library & Information Technology (NJLIT) is an international peer-reviewed, open-access, academic journal. It serves as a platform for the dissemination of original research, conceptual discussions, and practical developments in Library and Information Science (LIS), with a focus on distance education, digital transformation, information systems, and knowledge management.

Our Mission

Our mission is to foster a global dialogue among researchers, educators, and practitioners in the LIS field. We aim to publish high-quality, innovative work that addresses contemporary challenges and opportunities, particularly within the context of open and distance learning environments. By promoting open access, we ensure that scholarly knowledge is freely available to a worldwide audience, thereby accelerating discovery and encouraging further research.

Scope of the Journal

NJLIT welcomes contributions that explore a wide range of topics within library and information science. We are particularly interested in manuscripts that address, but are not limited to, the following areas:
